I made it clear in a previous post that I am not a designer, but I can make do when push comes to shove (and a little bit of feedback from friends!)

A few weeks ago, I released Anthony Grant's artist website. To quote Thanny Le, "It's not as bad as I expected!", which is probably a compliment. I'm pretty happy with the result, though I do want to spice it up a bit at some point.

Regardless of my design skills, Tony's artwork is amazing.

Welcome to Off Axis, the blog for Concepts Ahead, a technology consultancy specializing in data driven web applications, database and Unix systems management, and Agile project management. Being "off axis" is about following a different course from the main stream, and both this company and blog aspire to this principle. While part of this blog's goal is to advertise our services, it is more important to educate people. To this end, our focus will be creating content instead of replicating it.

What about web design? Our design chops are functional, suiting internal applications quite well, but we can leverage our associations with freelance designers or collaborate with yours.
